Excursions into the wonderful surroundings with countless hiking trails, mountain biking, and motorcycle routes promise adventure.

The various individually designed boutique apartments, in particular, offer space to unwind and dream. Each apartment comes with a fully equipped kitchen and its own terrace or outdoor seating area – perfect for breakfast or dinner in the open air!

THE STORY
La Grange Vercors was a farmhouse for many decades, built at the beginning of the 19th century. Many generations have lived and worked here. In the mid-20th century, German farmers also lived here for a time.
In the 1960s, the farm was sold again and gradually renovated and expanded by the new owners. Several apartments and a bar were created. Over the years, the circle of ‘La Grange fans’ grew, and the resulting apartments were rented out to acquaintances and many other interested parties. Each apartment has its own story and special feature. A lot has happened since then, and many stories will be told elsewhere.
We, too, have enjoyed many holidays here and fell in love with this wonderful place. When La Grange was to be sold, it was clear to us: ‘This is where we want to spend our lives!’
We warmly welcome all familiar and new guests, just as the former owners did for many years. We will make a few changes, but the spirit of La Grange will remain:

We are delighted to greet you at La Grange Vercors.
We, Silke Baumert and Jörg Gimmler, have fulfilled a dream! The dream of living in France and making people happy with our hospitality and ideas.
We are happy to pamper you with personal care, a pleasant atmosphere, and of course, all the delicious dishes we can conjure up for you.
We look forward to new, interesting encounters.
THE TEAM
Silke comes from management and has spent many years focusing on personnel development as well as art and design. She designs seminars, styles the garden and the apartments, and is happy to create a second home for people in the place where she works. Her great passion is cooking. Since her early youth, she has been cooking for family and friends and trying out new things. With her menus, she continually delights our guests.
Jörg is a trained restaurateur and has worked in various places over the years, including in Paris. For the past 20 years, he has been self-employed in financial services. La Grange Vercors rekindled his desire to host and pamper people. He is also the contact person for the many activities around La Grange Vercors.
Both have realized their dream with the purchase of La Grange Vercors.
Marie is a holistic health promoter, yogi, and creative spirit. Together with her, we offer our retreats, where people can find peace and get closer to themselves through various methods, such as yoga, guided meditations, creative work, or cacao ceremonies.
Sebastian comes from the field of computer science, is a business consultant, and has helped us build the digital infrastructure.
Both have developed in the field of ecological agriculture and have achieved the re-establishment of LA GRANGE VERCORS with us!
Our team is continually expanding.
The first support was Nici, who was with us from the beginning and accompanied us until June 2021.
Nici is a landscape architect and has done a fantastic job in the garden and landscape planning of La Grange Vercors. She has actively supported us in the garden and has intensively dealt with the subject of permaculture.
With this, we want to set an example and position ourselves sustainably.
